Organ Donation Manager and Transplant Center Liaison

  • Position Overview: Responsible for providing day-to-day oversight and guidance to the import organ team to accomplish mission and goals. Serve as a clinical expert for the organ allocation process from the OPO and transplant center perspective. Accountable for team’s adherence to all regulatory and accrediting agency standards. Provide direction, education and mentoring to team to facilitate effectiveness and efficiency in the import organ process while encouraging the professional development and achievement of personal and departmental goals. Serve as a transplant liaison for transplant programs. Maintain clinical skills and may function as an Import Coordinator. Align daily activities with the strategic and operational goals of the organization.

  • Job Qualifications: A minimum of a four-year degree in a healthcare field such as nursing and a minimum of one year experience with organ donation and/or transplantation. Prior import organ screening/experience and/or transplant experience desirable. CPTC required within 1 year of hire.
